
Imre Nagath, Hungary (1925-1975) 8/52

Nagath fled to India during the Soviet occupation and became a famed guru and strongman, father of 5 and producer of bed of nails (both steel and aluminum). He also starred in several Bollywood productions in the late 60´s.
Tim Prescott, England (Hull) (1972- ) 7/52

"Dynamite Prescott"
Awesome feats of strength, including the One Man Demolition of the Peacock Pub (1985), famous Hull Hooligan, arrested several times for fighting in public, 17 Doncaster supporters were hospitalised in front of the FA Cup third rd match (Doncaster won 7-0) in the mid nineties, Prescott is banned from all british stadiums for the next 10 years.
Prescott is also Five Time Hull Karaoke Champion.
Jürgen Trommler, Germany (1948- ) 6/52

AKA "GripMan"/"The Living Grip",
the most tattooed grip enthusiast, tattoos of grippers covering both his front and back as well as his private parts.
Trommler performs at local grip and strength comps (for food and beer). He lives in a tent with his cat Arbi.
Ethan O´Reilly, Irland (1930-1987) 5/52

Travelled around Britain and France with his wife Eilis for several years, performing at sideshows and cabarets.
His strength was marvellous. His act included the acclaimed "Man in a box", with Eilis elegantly seated on top of the box, while Ethan without being able to see anything at all - juggled 30 pound balls of steel over and around his voloptous wife.
After a head injury while practising (with box, but without Eilis), Ethan had to retire from Show biz.
Eilis started to perform on her own, with box, but without Ethan - and she became very popular among the crowds at the local pubs.
Bulgar Vorodnin, Irkutsk (1948- ) 4/52

Famous strongman and Red Army Champion
(armwrestling, gripping and deadlift).
Also quite a chess player (FIDE rating 2422) Lives in Moscow.
Frank "at large" Hogarth, USA (1849-1923) 3/52

Less famous than Butch Cassidy, Jesse James and Billy the kid, but maybe the strongest man there was around.
After several mindblowing escapes from jail, he changed his name and joined P.T.
Barnum and his circus (later on also the Ringling/Barnum/Bailey).
Did some awesome feats of strength touring the USA for 7 years.
Hogarth died in Paris, France.
Javier Caneca, Spain (1902-1937) 2/52

Poet ("Fuerza, aves, chicas") and strongman.
Famous for bending steel with both hands and teeth, while reading poetry.
Died in battle against the Nationalists at Toledo.
Paul Lippens, Belgium (1949- ) 1/52

Incredibly strong belgian (ten times belgian champion of horseshoe bending and chain breaking).
Several BeNeLux records still unchallenged.
And, notably, probably the heaviest ballerina starring in "Swan Lake" (as his alter ego Lucille, weighing in at 320 pounds (704 lbs) Today he runs a combined pub and danceteria in Kortrijk, preparing for the upcoming Münsterland Grip Challenge in Germany.
